English and Wellness Classes

These classes are every Thursday from 9:30-10:30ish. They are ESL (English as a Second Language or English as a Learned Language) classes which also include a component of handling the stress of being in a new country with a different language.  Volunteering to attend these classes will allow you a chance to see the work

Cindy Hood does, meet neighbors, and learn a little about new cultures and languages.

Community Internet Cafe

These will be on Thursdays from 9am-Noon.  Volunteering for this will include mingling in the Fellowship Hall with attendees to offer any help with online forms/issues and distribute resource lists. This is a great opportunity to meet and get to know community members as it is not a structured class and you are welcome to chat freely.

Third Saturday Trash Pick-Up

Edgewood Park does trash cleaning days every third Saturday from 9am-10am. They walk about 1.4 miles. All supplies are provided.  Attending this event will offer cleaning up our community and foster friendships.​​​​​​​​
