To Serve as as the Music Leader
for Washington Pike United Methodist Church.
• Plans & leads live music for each worship service
• Establishes relationships with the congregation
• Works to increase congregational participation in
the music portion of the worship service.
• Establish relationships with musicians
throughout the community to promote their
participation in our worship services.
• Introduces songs to the congregation and
provides instructions as needed.
• Engages the church in meaningful and fresh
worship experiences which reflects a mix of
traditional hymns, contemporary, praise and
worship music.
• Communicates and publishes music program
information through internal and external
communications and social media platforms.

This position reports to the Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Chair.

Work schedule will be varied but will generally require 8-12 hours a week. The salary range is $12,000 to $18,000 per year.
